Kelly’s original PET Scan was mid-December 2023 that showed the 11cm tumor in the mesentery of his gut. This is the same tumor that the surgeon biopsied surgically Nov 28, 2023 and noted non-hodgkins lymphoma. The original PET reported no other “hot spots” within the body, but confirmed the tumor and size in Kelly’s mesentary, which allowed him to be staged. At that time the diagnosis was: Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, Stage 2 Bulky.

The Repeat PET Scan is the opportunity to see progress on current treatments. As of the date of this repeat scan, Kelly will have received 7.5 weeks of treatment at An Oasis of Healing.
